The British Council
is
the national accrediting body in the UK for schools,
colleges and universities that provide courses in
English as a foreign language. As part of the
English in Britain Accreditation Scheme (EiBAS),
the British Council carries out regular inspections
on behalf of English UK. |

national association of accredited English language
centres. Formed in 2004 from two previous
associations (ARELS and BASELT),we have 330 member
