Following
registration with
the police it is
very important to
remember to tell the
police if you change
your address in the
UK.
You should also
inform them when you
leave the UK to
return home |
Extension of
permission to stay
in the UK
On entry in the UK,
your passport will
be stamped with the
period during which
you have permission
to stay. It is
important that you
check the final
date. If you need to
extend your
permission in order
to continue your
studies, you must
apply by completing
form FLR(S) (Further
Leave to Remain as a
Student). If you
wish to stay on for
the purpose of
graduation or other,
you will need to
complete the form
FLR (O). Both forms
will be available
from your Programme
Administrator, who
will also be able to
advise you about
which is the most
appropriate
application form for
you. |
You must apply at
least two months
before the leave to
remain expires. The
Home Office will not
accept applications
more than two months
before your leave
runs out.
